Our
series on Practical Grace examines what Reverend Tim Keller calls the difference between a Spiritually
changed heart and a morally restrained one. Every
major religion and world philosophy advocates for character and offer lists of
virtues, suggesting we must try hard to live a good life so we will be blessed and rewarded. Christianity offers a very different view. Instead of building character through sheer will power, Christianity tells us our character forms as a result of God's power. Rather than a means to faith, character development is the outgrowth of our faith. This is a radical idea. In this introductory lesson, we explore how character forms through a transformed heart - all by God's grace.
